Harrison Ford Personality Type – ISTP

ISTP

Harrison Ford can be quickly mistaken as the the ISTJ as with my original assessment, but as you sift through his resume you will find that Ford’s abilities is that of ISTP (Se) qualities rather than (Si).

Because of Se sits as the parent function for the ISTP, this is what we mostly see – the fluid ability to adapt to different roles and be remembered for such a performance. Some examples include Hans Solo in Star Wars and Indian Jones. Air Force One and The Fugitive are some of my other favorite classics.

Taylor Swift Personality Type – ESFJ

ESFJ

You don’t need to be a “Swiftie” to recognize talent when you see it. Some of my Swift song faves include “Cruel Summer“, “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood“. She has so much variety in her music thanks to (Ne), the child function for the ESFJ provides never ending exploration.

Taylor Swift is renowned for her songwriting skills. She has written numerous chart-topping songs, many of which are autobiographical and draw from her personal experiences. Her lyrics often explore themes of love, heartbreak, friendship, and personal growth.

Taylor Swift continues onto announcing the release of her first concert film – THE ERAS TOUR. Swifties across the world who missed Taylor in concert can now experience Taylor on the big screen (AMC theaters).

Eddie Murphy Personality Type – ESTP

ESTP

Legendary comedian Eddie Murphy is back, for how long who knows but his recent comeback on Saturday Night Live (SNL) and “Coming 2 America” (a sequel to the original Coming to America) exceeded my expectations. If anything it was refreshing to see some old school talent totally crush it.

Some of my other all time faves are “Beverly Hills Cop“, “48 Hours“, “Another 48 hours“, “Dr. Doolittle“, yeah even “Norbit” are some of my all time faves. Eddie Murphy took a break from showbiz for a long while though and his return to the big stage made me want to dig into his personality type.

Bill Gates Personality Type – ENTJ

Bill Gates, co-founder, pretty much the face of Microsoft. Software developer, billionaire and in his later years, philanthropist which I think are all key in typing Bill Gates. At the time of this post, Bill and Melinda Gates have decided to break up and throw in the the towel, who knows why really. We’ve got more important matters at hand, like figuring out whether Bill Gates is an ENTJ, INTP and I even considered the possibility of the ESTJ (I know that’s a stretch, but worth a chance in our analysis). Let’s take a dive, shall we.

Tom Hardy Personality Type – ISTP

ISTP

Tom Hardy, who could have better casted as “Bane” in “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012). Better yet, a better “Max” for the movie “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015). Not to mention “The Revenant” and “Warrior“- both excellent choices for movie night.

Alright, I haven’t forgotten about Marvel’s “Venom“. Tom Hardy, does so well in dark movies it seems, villains and anti-heroes, I don’t know maybe it’s the tats and the beard. Grungy, savage beast mode, mysterious, rugged seems to be Tom Hardy’s default – a tad bit menacing, maybe a little depending on the mood.

Tom Hardy is a highly debated personality type and when you do your research, there isn’t much to go by. He seems guarded with a lot of unknowns – we can only go by his interviews, movies and some informational stuff on Wikipedia. One things for sure though, Tom Hardy is an SP user. In personality speak, that means he is sensory perceiving leaning. Extraverted Sensing, I would say this shines more than any other function on his stack.

Jim Carrey Personality Type – ENTJ

“Dumb and Dumber“, “Ace Ventura“, “Saturday Night Live“, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind“, yeah I know I can’t list all of them here, but you get the point. Jim Carrey brings his talent to the table, no matter what the character nor the script, Jim Carrey is game. “Capable” wouldn’t do this personality type any justice, so read on and I’ll tell you what that is.

“Relentless” would probably be more fitting, after all were talking about the ENTJ here. Jim Carrey, an ENTJ – no not an ESFP or an ENTP but a relentless ENTJ, with that dominating, Te we call Extraverted Thinking.

Look I know what you’re thinking, An ENTJ? Not the jovial entertaining ESFP or the intergalactic creative ENTP? Yeah, Jim Carrey is an ENTJ. ENTJ’s aren’t always the CEO, Entrepreneur, Top Executive, Director types. ENTJ’s can be whoever they want, a perfect type to be when you’re Jim Carrey.

Stephen Colbert Personality Type – INFP

INFP

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Colbert had some pretty big shoes to fill and that he did, carrying on the torch after David Letterman left the set back in 2015. Colbert and his humble beginnings included “The Daily Show” hosted by Jon Stewart where he moved on to hosting his own show known as the “The Colbert Report“.

One of my favorite segments on the “Colbert Report” was yes, you guessed it – “Truthinews”. Witty, entertaining and intellectually light on the heart – if that makes any sense. I think it’ll make sense later, so read on.

Dwayne Johnson Personality Type – ENFJ

ENFJ

Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. “The Rock” we all know from WWE/WWF Wrestling before he went on to star in several blockbuster movies including Fast & Furious, Doom, Rampage, Baywatch (2017) and Jumanji (2019) just to name a few.

At the time of this writing, recently announced was his casting as DC’s “Black Adam”. Yeah, definitely looking forward to do that – bring it on. Dwayne Johnson would totally kick ass as Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson’s personality type is somewhat of another brain twister, but I’m up for the challenge. Try looking up his personality type on the interwebs and you will get a mix of attempts.

Jeff Bezos Personality Type – ISTJ

ISTJ

Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and Amazon CEO of this massive E-Commerce company we all know as Amazon. Yeah I love the name. A name I don’t think will ever go away, online shopping -everything online. One of Bezos‘ famous quotes –

“The best customer service is if the customer doesn’t need to call you, doesn’t need to talk to you. It just works.”

I couldn’t agree more. I shop on Amazon all the time, yeah there are returns and awful products out there. Sometimes, my package gets lost, damaged, stolen or in extremely rare cases – just never arrives, but that’s the worse case scenario. At the end of the day, Amazon isn’t successful for nothing. Amazon, or should I say Bezos – keeps customer service as the main priority.

Enough about Amazon, though it’s hard to separate the two. On to the man who literally wrote the word Amazon on his wall before Amazon went online.

Barack Obama Personality Type – ENFJ

ENFJ

Barack Obama, 44th and first African President of the United States. A super interesting personality type to dive into, partly because of his eloquent delivery and hand gestures while speaking, but mostly because there’s been a split consensus to what his type really is. Even after his term(s) as President, he is still remains quite relevant and active in politics, culture and social media all around.

There was a time when Barack Obama was under scrutiny over whether he is in fact a U.S. citizen, conspiracy theories and speculation hovered for quite some time. Whether he was born in Kenya or Indonesia is no longer a subject of debate now, it seems we all agree now Obama was born in Hawaii based on Wikipedia and FactCheck.org.
