It’s about time I write about Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live and talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” are some of his notable achievements. I took a quick gander at Wikipedia, and it was Tina Fey who said, quote “He’s one of two people I’ve ever seen who was completely ready to be on the show.” Coupled with what I already know about Jimmy Fallon – his show is packed with so much entertainment, music and laughs. Guests are fully engaged on his show, the participating factor in of itself is attention grabbing.
Alright on to Jimmy’s personality type. I’m pretty solid on my assessment, but would like to mention I could see a case for ENTP or ENFP. But I see more sensory expressed in how Jimmy carries himself, let alone the way he engages with his guests and audience. It’s the in the moment, experience given that really shines for Jimmy. The scattered versatility sprinkled about, most of which are sensory from mimicking, popular impressions and fun activities that reveal how relentless Jimmy is. It’s that Se, Extraverted Sensing element that keeps reaching, ever ready for anything reached for. With the exception of stars, based on one of Jimmy famous quotes –
“Don’t keep reaching for the stars because you’ll just look like an idiot stretching that way for no reason.“
Today I wanted to write about Jack Black, yeah I know random yet out of the ordinary. Best known for “School of Rock”, “Nacho Libre” and yes, even King Kong – Jack is so fun to watch. My ultimate favorite though is “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny”. Yeah he can be a little quirky, but that’s heavily overshadowed by originality and innate talent – qualities that the ENTP possesses. Yeah, Jack is an ENTP.
Yeah, if you checked out the video above – only an ENTP would cross his legs in a child like manner on a live talk show.
Shia LaBeouf, can I just say “Shy La Buff”? Ok so Shia is an interesting dude, I usually like to write about people who have settled in to themselves, aged and seasoned folks who have a workable timeline I can observe. With Shia though, he’s matured into himself – well not fully but enough personality to grind through.
The sources have come up with INFP, INFJ, and ENFP. I do think Shia is a perceiver not a judger – yeah I know what you’re thinking, I’m breaking my own rule about cognitive functions. When observing dichotomies, what I like to do is feel one’s energy, one’s “vibe” if you will – something a person does long enough it shows. Perceivers have a different way of roaming the earth, you just have to get that vibe.
Typing Michael Jackson is a huge undertaking – he’s got such vast timeline of memorable performances, interviews and songs I grew up with. There are way too many classics to name here but just to name a few – “Beat it”, “Billie Jean” and “I’ll be there” were a few of my faves (a few? no I didn’t mean a few, way too many to name as mentioned). I even enjoyed watching his movies – “Moonwalker” and if you’ve been around long enough – “Captain EO”.
Okay, let’s get to it and jot down what we do know. Michael is an I, x, F, P. That “x” placeholder is a huge question mark, sources are split down the middle between an INFP and an ISFP. I’ve been swinging back and forth with the two possibilities myself.
When I think of BeyonceKnowles, I think of “All the single ladies, all the single ladies. All the single ladies. All the single ladies.” While you may be cringing at how corny that intro was, I’m actually highlighting Beyonce’s lyrical delivery more than just mere repetition of words. It’s tough to separate that familiar Beyonce tone (a sexy one I might add) with certain lyrics – they’re solid, simple statements and they cut to the core. It’s true that ESFP’s are commonly known as Entertainers but let’s remember that when they do, they have a message to send.
